Overview of the Service:

Behavioral Health Home (BHH) services at Wings are uniquely designed to meet your Child and Family’s needs using a team-based approach. Your Wings team collaborates with you to help you achieve the goals you have set for your family, using the Wraparound planning process. BHH services are delivered in your community.

Our services are highly flexible, allowing us to provide you with Care Coordination that meets your level of need. Care Coordinators are available to come to your home, attend meetings, make referrals to other programs and services, and monitor progress. They are committed to ensuring satisfaction with the support and services provided to your family.

We can come to you! We serve pretty much most cities and towns north of Augusta.

Wings has offices in the following locations:

• Bangor
• Ellsworth
• Machias
• Medway
• Presque Isle
• Waterville

Eligibility:

Our Referral Coordinator will work with you to see if you are eligible to receive our services. If one of the criteria listed below is not currently present, we will connect you with resources that may help.

To receive BHH services, the following is required:

• A qualifying diagnosis (Mental Health, Intellectual Disability, Developmental Disability)
• MaineCare
• A need for the service

Who Refers:

Anyone can make a referral for BHH Services at Wings! We accept referrals from families, providers, schools, doctor’s offices, and more. Our Referral Coordinator will reach out to the family to complete the referral. A Care Coordinator is then assigned the same day.

How Services Are Funded:

MaineCare is the only insurance that will pay for BHH services.
